It's my pleasure to welcome you to my homepage. Currently I am graduate (PhD) student working at the Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit, Indian Institute of Science under the supervision of Prof. Biman Bagchi. Being a researcher this place is supposed to mostly contain materials to do with my research career. But unfortunately I tend to be a person of a diverse range of interests and activities. So I intend to share whatever I find interesting and useful in this little corner of the World Wide Web, the place I am more comfortable with than in real life!

Caveat:This site has been "under construction" for a excruciatingly long time for the hope of putting up a lot of material together before I open it for all. But that proposition seems to be tantalizingly difficult to resolve, so I finally decided to keep it open with minimal materials while I work on it. Please bear with the lack of "fun" materials.
It took a really long time for me to finally settle down on a particular theme/template of my website. I am using a very popular and useful content management system named Joomla! (version 1.5.8) here. This will help me to put lot more goodies around this site more easily than I could have done myself. So in case you are planning to build a website of your own, it's worth giving a shot. I promise you'll love it.
